Marc

My name is Marc Newman and I am a front end developer living in the greater New York City area.

I am currently a front end developer for Thumb, a social utility that helps people get instant opinions. Thumb (previously known as Opinionaided) has been featured by CNN, TechCrunch, VentureBeat, Ad Week, and many others. With over 1.5 million users, 1 billion opinions given annually, and an average of 5 hours usage per month, Thumb is the leader in the opinion polling space.

I am passionate about standards, constant self improvement, and using technology to build products that make people happy. I also love product and crafting great user experiences.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching Korean dramas, keeping up with trends and new technologies in the web and mobile worlds, and looking for the perfect cocktail recipe (which, so far, is simply a Sapphire and tonic).
